With the recognition of how stressful life can be during COVID, this fun and educational packed program is going to help get us equipped for life during and after COVID. M.B.F. is a program that focuses on not just the physical needs, but our mental needs too. For the next two months, we will be having interactive sessions that are fun, entertaining and hopefully life changing. Changing how we see ourselves, how we think of ourselves and our community at large. And most importantly, getting our finances together.

Topics include:

Mind:

The world is a busy place and it is time to take a moment for yourselves. Find peace within yourself through mind exercises.

Activities include:

  • Meditation
  • Yoga
  • Draw from memory
  • Acting
  • Making a schedule and executing them
  • Alternative focus (Using Art for relaxation)

Body:

In this class we are going to be seeing positive ways on how we can appreciate our body by learning and taking time out to do some physical activities. How to stay mentally fit by learning positive talk and ways we can learn to love ourselves.

Activities include:

  • Exercise
  • Accepting yourself
  • Wear what you like
  • Acknowledging what you like about yourself
  • Not comparing yourself to others during COVID and after COVID
  • Giving and taking compliments
  • See the positives others see in you

Eating Healthy:

What is eating healthy? Is it the amount of food we eat or the time we eat? The fact remains that too much of everything can be bad for you. Learn about moderation that works for you. Bonus, we will be cooking once a class every week for seven weeks!

Finance:

Money can be a tool that can make us stresses. Take control of your finances by learning how to manage and plan. Learn how to make money work for you. From learning how to strategically save, without you feeling like you are depriving yourself, to being confident with seeing your money grow.

 

NOTE:

*You do not have to attend all class to join this program. You are able to pick and choose the classes you want to attend.

*Celebrate is on Mondays from 12 pm to 2 pm

How to be Confident is on Tuesdays from 12 pm to 2 pm

*Healthy Choice is on Wednesdays at 12 pm to 2 pm

Financials: Money Matters is on Thursdays from 12 pm to 2 pm

Community Activities (previously named Out and About) is on Fridays from 11 pm to 1 pm

*days have changed. Healthy choices has moved from Mondays to Wednesdays and Celebrate has moved to Mondays

**Class times have changed. They are now 12 pm to 2 pm instead of the previous time of 10 am to 12 pm
